Hotel Vatel 4* Superior - Martigny

The hotel offers comfortable rooms, a clean and spacious bathroom, and a good shower with ample hot water pressure. the staff is friendly and helpful, and there is a kettle in the room. the location is convenient, just a 10-minute walk from the local train station, making it ideal for hiking in the area. the room has a nice view of the hotel's park and the surrounding mountains. There is excellent soundproofing, Wi-Fi, and an air conditioning system. the breakfast is very good, and the restaurant exceeds expectations with every dish.

The location off the city center but if you have your own car you should have no problem since the parking is available and free.

The hotel had a great location, with beautiful views of the mountains and easy access to nearby towns. the staff were friendly and accommodating. the room was clean and cozy, and the bed was comfortable. the restaurant had good quality food.

There were some downsides to the stay. the walls in the room were quite thin, which made it easy to hear noise from outside or from neighboring rooms.

The location of this hotel couldn't have been better - it was right in the heart of the city, with easy access to shopping and restaurants. During my Christmas stay, the hotel also provided complimentary hot chocolate and cookies in the lobby, which was a nice touch that I really appreciated. the staff was very friendly and helpful - they were always willing to answer my questions and give recommendations on things to do in the area.

While my overall experience was positive, I did find that the room was a bit cramped and lacked adequate storage space. the noise level from outside the hotel could be quite loud at times, which made it difficult to sleep at night.

Wonderful evening meal, quite the best veal I have ever eaten, absolutely delicious. Also, ease of location and access, plus ideal parking arrangements for my motorcycle.

total lack of air-conditioning in the room, it had been a very hot day and with the window wide open it only became cooler after 01:00 AM

Lovely renovated hotel. Clean and comfortable rooms. Modern and quiet. Nice location outside Martigny. Spacious rooms with a nice view. Good breakfast with freshly made eggs and crepes. Friendly staff. Best value for money.

Good food and good staff.

Rooms are way too hot. No way to regulate the temparature individually. It was like a sauna. Furthermore somebody tried to break in into my car. My car was in the place closest to the hotel however a hedge makes it very easy for a burglar to operate unseen. Cut down the hedges and put more light and cameras on the parking lot.
